Note: Because LP gas is heavier than air, this detector should be installed no more than 18" from the floor so that it can accurately detect the amount of gas in your RV.

Propane (LP gas) is usually the first choice of power in RVs, but a leak could result in dangerous levels of explosive gas in your motor-home. This detector gives you peace of mind by alerting you if there is as little as 2,000 ppm of LP gas present, which constitutes a concentration far lower than what is seen in the lower explosive limit (LEL) of propane. This means that your family will have more than enough time to get to safety if the alarm sounds.
