Reese Adjustable Hitch Bars are these 2" x 2" adjustable bars in the raised or dropped position with round bar or high performance weight distributing systems. Long hitch bars provide the extra length for bumper clearance. Gross load rating up to 12,000 lbs., tongue load rating up to 1,200 lbs. #99-1047 & #99-1048 are rated up to 10,000 lbs./1,000 lbs. Reese Hitch bars are adjustable just in case the height you need for certain types of trailers are higher than others so that you do not have to switch hitches everytime you hook up.
