How To Use: To read the level in the tank, pour some very hot water (with a temperature of at least that of hot coffee to boiling), down the length of the gauge. Usually, hot tap water is not hot enough. The indicator strip will change color and the lower portion of the strip will quickly return to its original color. Surface of liquid gas level in the tank is indicated at the area or line where the two colors meet. If no color change or a faint color change occurs, use boiling water. |
